This Goose has flown the coop!

Posted on Aug 16th, 2008 by JuicyGoosey : Raw Artist JuicyGoosey
Sorry for the delay in posting. This Goose needed a bit of a break!!! I needed to go throw myself into the fun of life and so I flew the coop!

Here's a questions, how much do you think about food?

Years ago when I was on the Standard American Diet and determined to loose weight I felt I had to constantly tell myself, "I'm on a diet I can't eat that I can't eat that I can't eat that." But I have to say, that kind of thinking just makes you obsess more and think more about food and triggers the food cravings.

These days I prefer to think about eating as little as possible. There are a ton of foods I love that are incredibly healthy that I can eat. When I'm hungry and it's time to eat, I enjoy them fully. When it's not time to eat or when I'm satiated, I fly the coop, I get away from the TV, get away from the restaurants, get away from advertisements of food that make me crave the food regardless of hunger or not, and I get away from the stashes of food. I let it go, I get out and just enjoy all that life has to offer. Anything and everything as long as it has nothing to do with food. Dancing, Producing, Singing, Karaoke, Reading, Party Planning, Arts and Crafts, Hiking in the woods, Kayaking, Camping, Meditating, Yoga, Traveling, Playing with Friends…. So much to do so little time! We are truly blessed to have so many wonderful fun things to do with ourselves in our life. While food is a big pleasure in life, there's so much more joy to life than food alone. And if I get out and start enjoying my life, chances are I won't even think about food. My body mind and spirit are full. I'm craving less unless I REALLY am hungry. Then I eat, just enough, slowly & fully enjoy, let go of it, move on, rinse and repeat. And it works for me.

I would love to hear what works for you and your findings? But since this post is actually about doing something that has nothing to do with food, lets forget all about it and instead feel free to share an interesting or hilarious story this week about anything at all as long as it has absolutely nothing to do with food.

I have a ton of interesting stories I'm dying to share but I think this post is already too long.  You all must be blogged out at this point! : ) So I will post later this week. Until soon my juicy goosey readers!

HONK HONK!

Love,
The Goose

It's going right to the top of my reading list!  Please tell me someone has read it and has a great quote to share. If not hopefully I will have one soon.

Signs Signs Everywhere are signs

The #1 Sign It's Time for a Colonic!

Shit is coming

I had a brand new client coming in to the office. She was nervous and about ready to skip out on me.  But then she saw this sign right outside our office and took it as a sign from above she needed some serious colon cleansing : )  And I must say from the looks of her treatment it was a damn good thing she listened to that sign.  I wouldn't have been surprised if she told me she lost five pounds from that treatment.

Hee hee : ) Don't you just love it when these synchronicities happen! It's the perfect reassurance you are on the right path. And if you are clear on exactly what you want, once you are face to face with these signs you will know exactly what it is you want/should do.  There is no way to ignore them. You won't be able to hesitate moving forward to achieve your goals and meet the destiny you have chosen for yourself.
